Bones Atlas
Bones Atlas
Bones Atlas’ latest record, Corduroy Sugar, is the third studio album from the four-piece. Like a Bones Atlas live show, this album is a journey that traverses a musical landscape of which the listener never knows what will come next. Some songs are fast and rocking, some are slow and soulful. Some songs will make you want to dance, while others may cause you to re-evaluate your life. The genre and theme defying narratives that permeate the music are familiar to the long-time Bones Atlas fan, but may surprise somebody discovering them for the first time.
Recorded between lockdowns from 2020-2021 this album was put down at Pyroelectric Records in Sydney. Mixed remotely in 2022 by the incredible Brent Clark (Midnight Oil, Daniel Johns, Tumbleweed). Mastered by the legend Steve Smart (301 Studios, Sydney) This album was finally released into the world in October 2023.

In 2023, Ruby’s singles ‘Out Of Fashion’, ‘Guilty Pleasure’, and ‘You’ve Changed’ dominated the airwaves,
earning Double J rotation, triple j Unearthed rotation, alongside radio-play support from triple j, iHeartRadio and

renowned creators, Finbar Stuart.
Fuelled by 2000s R&B Pop nostalgia, the timeless 5-track record tells a series of sincere stories with a beautiful,
honest delivery – everything a debut should do.

Picnic, and has just recently sold out the Lansdowne with a headline show. February saw Ruby open for Ball
Park Music as part of Sydney’s Twilight At Taronga, then up to Brisbane to warm the stage for International
