We’re looking for passionate, friendly and reliable volunteers to help bring the festival to life. Whether you’re a seasoned event worker or brand‑new to volunteering, we have a role for you. Volunteering is a fantastic way to build experience, meet new people, support local music and be part of a vibrant community.
We are looking for people who can assist during the Festival for 4 hours at a time. Two volunteer induction sessions will be held to provide information as well as onground support during the event. Vollie Hub Manager
About the role
The Vollie Hub Manager is the heartbeat of our volunteer operation, ensuring volunteers feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout the festival.
You will
- Welcome volunteers as they arrive and assist with onboarding
- Manage volunteer check‑ins and check‑outs
- Distribute and track gear, shirts, radios, and volunteer items
- Act as a central point of contact for volunteer support

Production / Crew Support
About the role
Production / Crew Support volunteers help keep the festival running smoothly behind the scenes, assisting with logistics and operational tasks.
You will
- Assist with bump‑in and bump‑out of venues
- Move equipment and supplies between locations
- Support safety checks and basic risk management tasks
- Work closely with production and operations teams
This role suits people who
- Are practical and physically capable
- Don’t mind lifting and being on their feet
- Enjoy working behind the scenes as part of a team
FUNDRAISER
About the role
Fundraisers help keep the music alive by engaging with patrons and encouraging donations throughout the festival.
You will
- Move through venues with donation buckets
- Politely encourage patrons to contribute
- Represent the festival with enthusiasm and warmth
- Provide basic information about the festival when needed

- Are comfortable approaching strangers in a friendly way
RUNNERS
About the role
Runners provide flexible, on‑the‑ground support across the festival, helping teams stay informed and venues run smoothly.
You will
- Conduct head counts at venues
- Perform spot checks as directed by the team
- Assist with basic risk and safety checks
- Relay information between teams and locations
This role suits people who

- Can follow instructions and move between locations easily

CONCIERGE TEAM
About the role
Concierge Team members are the friendly faces of the festival, providing support and information to patrons.
You will
- Welcome patrons at activation points
- Collect email addresses and support engagement activities
- Provide wayfinding and general festival information
- Assist with customer‑service style enquiries

CROWD CONTROL TEAM
About the role
Crowd Control volunteers help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience by assisting with crowd flow and capacity management at outdoor venues.
You will
- Monitor crowd numbers at designated areas
- Support venue teams with crowd flow
- Communicate any concerns to supervisors
- Help maintain a safe environment for patrons
This role suits people who

- Can follow procedures and instructions
- Are comfortable interacting with large groups of people
MC (Host)
About the role
The MC is the voice of the festival, helping shape the audience experience through announcements and stage hosting.
You will
- Introduce artists and sessions
- Thank sponsors and partners
- Share important festival information with audiences
- Help create an engaging and professional atmosphere

- Are confident public speakers
- Enjoy performing or hosting
- Are comfortable speaking to large audiences
