Who can I contact for a general enquiry?

During the event an Information Hub can be found at the CWA Hall on Wason Street in Milton.

Festival Volunteers will be wearing yellow high-visibility vests and can be approached if you have any questions.

When will the festival happen?

Friday 1st May: 4.30pm-10.30pm
Saturday 2nd May: 9.30am-10.45pm
Sunday 3rd May: 11.00am-7.45pm

Is the Milton Folk, Jazz & Blues Festival free?

This is not a festival in a field. Performances will take place in cafes, restaurants, hotels, public spaces throughout Milton. All performances are free aside from those taking place at the Milton Theatre and one show at the Altar Bar.

What are the ticketed shows and where can I buy tickets:

Do I need to book a table at venues hosting free performances?

Venues taking bookings include: Harvest Bar, Prickly Pear, Nomah, Milk Haus, Milton Theatre, Brown Sugar, Pilgrims, Baar Baar, Bar Yuki

What should I do if I have purchased tickets and can no longer attend?

Tickets to Milton Theatre shows may be refunded up to 5 days before the event. See ticket for detailed refund information.

Festival volunteers will be wearing yellow high visibility vests and can be approached for assistance or general information throughout the event.

Do you offer Companion tickets for carers?

Milton Theatre events offers Companion Card holders complimentary tickets.

Weather policy

The festival will take place rain or shine.

What to bring/not bring:

No BYO alcohol is permitted at the Village Green, or licensed hospitality venues. For the Village Green Stage, bring a rug to sit on.

Are service animals welcome?

Service animals are welcome at all festival venues. Please ensure your service animal wears proper identification.

Is this a wheelchair accessible event?

The town of Milton is wheelchair accessible. Designated accessible seating is available at most hospitality venues and Milton Theatre. For the Village Green stage, we recommend bringing portable chairs if needed, though some accessible spaces will be available on a first in, first served basis.

What are the ground conditions like?

All footpaths are paved.

Are there accessible restrooms?

All main venues feature accessible restrooms. There are accessible restrooms next to the Library on the Princes Highway.

Is there accessible parking available?

Accessible parking spaces are available throughout Milton. Parking spots are clearly marked.

What are the food and beverage options?

Multiple food and beverage options are available at many Milton cafes, restaurants and licensed venues. Check out the program to view the options for dining with live performances as part of your festival experience

Where are the bathrooms?

Most established venues have a bathroom within or associated with their premises. Public toilets are next to the Library on the Princes Highway, and also at Mick Ryan Park 47 Princes Highway Milton. There will also be portable toilets located behind the Jazz Lab Stage on Wason Street.

Where can I refill my water bottle?

There is a free water refill station next to the Milton Library on the Princes Highway.

Rules and Policies:

Are children welcome at the event?

Yes. Standard restrictions apply to hotels and pubs, with minors to be accompanied by an adult.

Lost property

Lost property can be handed into or claimed at the CWA Hall, Wason Street Milton.

Pet policy

Assistance dogs welcome. Family pets are welcome in Milton town. It is the responsibility of pet owners to manage their own animal(s).
