Full Bottle
Full Bottle serves up a potent mix of Chicago, Texas, Roots, R&B, and Electric Blues, brewed straight from the NSW South Coast. Fronted by the dynamic interplay of guitarists Stephen King and Herman Marcic (both on vocals), the band delivers a captivating blend of original tunes and classic covers. Anchored by the solid rhythm section of Bob Clarke on bass/vocals and Simon Punnett on drums, Full Bottleās sound is further enriched by the soulful sax and harmonica of Wyn Morris (also on vocals), adding layers of texture and depth.
Like many bands, Full Bottle faced challenges during the post-Covid era, leading to a period of reinvention. Guitarists Marcic and King spearheaded this resurgence, rebuilding the lineup and expanding the band’s sonic palette with additional vocalists and the exciting addition of sax and harmonica.
Drawing inspiration from blues legends like Taj Mahal, Jimmie Rogers, Willie Dixon, JJ Cale, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, and Blind Willie McTell, Full Bottle honours the traditions of the genre while forging their own unique path. Their music is a testament to the enduring power of the blues, guaranteed to get you moving and grooving. Whether they’re laying down a slow-burning blues lament or cranking out a high-energy shuffle, Full Bottle delivers a full-bodied experience that leaves audiences thirsty for more.
