Kamatose

Kamatose is a project between two South Coast outfits, based in Moruya NSW, and formed to bring live and dynamic jazz, soul and Afro funk fusion music to the people.
With members of long time local favourite Spin Drift Saga, and local funky reggae soul and Afro band Waikama, Kamatose plays originally arranged and free form timeless tracks from Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Eddie Harris, Fela Kuta, Brubeck, Coltrane any many more eternal legends, with the odd original indulgence thrown in for good measure.
Band members are, Dave Tweedie and Mick McGrath on guitars, Aiden Hayworth on drums, Chris McGrath on bass, and Owen Thomas on keys and saxophones.
