Symphonette

Symphonette, led by Yannick Koffi and Harry Sutherland, brings a fresh energy to Sydney jazz scene. Formed in 2024, the band has performed at Manly Jazz Festival, Kamelia Presents, Miss Celie’s and Petersham Bowling Club. Drawing inspiration from legendary figures like Tadd Dameron, Mary Lou Williams, Duke Ellington and Billie Holiday, Symphonette blends classic jazz sensibilities with unique arrangements and original compositions. Featuring 11 of Sydney’s finest jazz musicians, with Leah Berry on vocals, their sound is perfect for a laid-back afternoon.
